I’ve been back a little over a month now. Since then:
- We have a new dog, who is a lovely person and a big ball of energy
- I have re-defined my room and have thrown a bunch of crap out of the house (thank god for “big garbage” days). Spring cleaning coming up.
- I’m working two jobs from home and have a line on something more permanent.
- I’m currently in rehearsals for the play “Closer” (playing the Clive Owen role). This will be my first time onstage in nearly three years.
- We are currently in the midst of my son’s first big heartbreak. Oh, those rites of passage…
- I have tickets to my first Broadway show in years.
- And I’m aiming for a 50th birthday in Amsterdam.

All in all – I’d say it’s nice to be alive again.

    Uncle Carl. Sorting the ‘best of the decade’ list and Built to Spill’s ‘Perfect from Now On’ came out in 1997. would you like to replace it with something? if so i need to know asap because the list is sorted and ready for publication.

    Ah, the first heartbreak…coming from the single guy it doesn’t mean alot, but tell him to hang in…There are many others out there…
