I’ve been back a little over a month now. Since then:
- We have a new dog, who is a lovely person and a big ball of energy
- I have re-defined my room and have thrown a bunch of crap out of the house (thank god for “big garbage” days). Spring cleaning coming up.
- I’m working two jobs from home and have a line on something more permanent.
- I’m currently in rehearsals for the play “Closer” (playing the Clive Owen role). This will be my first time onstage in nearly three years.
- We are currently in the midst of my son’s first big heartbreak. Oh, those rites of passage…
- I have tickets to my first Broadway show in years.
- And I’m aiming for a 50th birthday in Amsterdam.

All in all – I’d say it’s nice to be alive again.
