Someone says Steve Jobs has a cold and Apple stock goes in the toilet. Since the institutional money is on the sidelines, the market is being moved by the E-Trade crowd who buy when the market is high and sell when the market is low, the opposite of what you are supposed to do to make money. Then they start reporting rumors as facts and everyone freaks out, which is what we have right now. That is the problem with trying to fill 24 hour news channels.
