I think Alan Rickman (as medatron) described God best - “Funny - a great sense of humor - but lonely, too”.

Good enough for me.
Of course he believed. He’s a lapsed Catholic! It’s in our blood.
He just didn’t believe in the whole “church/religion” thing.
