Bill Clinton was, in my opinion, a very good president. Biggest peacetime economy, more jobs, the overhaul of the welfare system – a SURPLUS in the Treasury when he left office. He even made it count when he dropped bombs on Kosovo. Go in, get the job done and get out.

His personal indiscretions are nobody’s business, unless you are HRC. Speaking of whom, I’m going with Obama until the Democratic machine squelches him and then I will vote for HRC. But for now, this country needs to believe things can get better.

Obama’s message can galvanize people – can make them feel that there is hope for this once-great Republic – and maybe we’ll finally spit out the fear-mongering poisons that Bush/Cheney have been feeding us for the past 7 years and get down to cleaning up the toxic mess they will have left.

I’ll admit Obama is a more decent guy and easier to trust. But most of ideas make him sound like he’ll be as effective as old “malaise” Carter.
I do hope that when Hillary doesn’t get the nomination, her indignation will cause her to implode and we can be done with her all together (although Slick Willie will never do us a favor and go away).

How about Obama and Rollins? Now that is a dream ticket. Also, if Arnold Schwarzenegger was able to run for president doesnt his running mate have to be Danny Devito?

Unless Henry Rollins announces his candidancy soon, I will not endorse any of these people until I probably get in the voting booth. I haven’t heard anything from any of them that makes me think that they have the answer. And if it comes down to the inevitable beauty contest, I’m going with Jessica Alba. She’s easy on the eyes, and is twice as smart as Bush.

35 years, huh? Is that how long she and Bill have been married?

I know whoever gets the presidency will be taking over a mess, but trust me – by the time we get to January, 2009 we will having been living with it for about eight months. Someone had better have a clue by then.

My only concern about Obama is that we are definitely heading into a royal financial mess (not the supposed dot.com meltdown or even 1987) and I think we might have someone who is over his head with a Dow at 10,000 or less.

Even if she wasn’t officially in office, I think while she was doing her first lady of the state and country roles, she was watching and obviously waiting for her chance.

No matter what, unless we all end up getting jobs in Kuwait, the likelihood of either oaf (intentional) the opposition candidates winning is as good as Clemens pitching for the Yanks again. Remember, most of us, including some supposed Republicans, have said for the last three years that anything was better.

Plus, how cool is a ticket that has both O and H on it? OH, HO.

On seeing it in print, maybe OH is better.
